Privacy Policy
VoltPlay ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
VoltPlay is a game-booster and system-monitor utility for Android that helps your device run games more smoothly (freeing memory, applying refresh-rate and display preferences, and showing real-time performance stats). You do not need to create an account to use it.
1. Information We Collect
We keep data collection to a minimum. The App does not ask you to register, and we do not knowingly collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise GPS location, or the content of your files.
1.1 Information collected automatically (via third-party SDKs)
When you use the App, our analytics, crash-reporting, attribution, and advertising partners may collect:
- Device and advertising identifiers — including the Google Advertising ID (AD_ID), and app-instance/device identifiers.
- Approximate location — coarse, IP-address-derived location (city/region level) used by advertising partners for ad delivery. We do not collect precise/GPS location; the App requests no location permission.
- App activity / interactions — in-app events and how you use features, for analytics and ad measurement.
- Crash logs and diagnostics — technical information (device model, OS version, app version, stack traces, performance data) when the App crashes or misbehaves.
1.2 Data processed on your device only (not collected by us)
To provide its features, the App reads certain information locally on your device and does not transmit it to us or any third party, including: system performance metrics (CPU load, RAM usage, temperature, frame rate), the list of installed apps/games (to build your Game Hub), and app-usage state (to auto-apply your game profiles). Your per-game profiles and settings are stored locally on the device. This on-device processing is not "collection" under this Policy.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features;
- Serve and measure advertising (including personalized ads where you consent);
- Perform analytics to understand usage and improve the App;
- Attribution — measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party SDKs, which may process the data described above according to their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase (Analytics) — usage analytics — Privacy Policy
- Google Firebase (Crashlytics) — crash reporting & diagnostics — Privacy Policy
- Google Firebase (Remote Config) — feature/remote configuration — Privacy Policy
- Google AdMob — advertising — Privacy Policy
- Meta Audience Network — advertising (mediation) — Privacy Policy
- AppsFlyer — attribution & marketing analytics — Privacy Policy
Ad consent (UMP / TCF). Where required (e.g. in the EEA/UK), the App shows a consent prompt before personalized ads are served, and passes your consent choices to our advertising partners. You can change your choices at any time from the App's settings.
Reset or opt out of the advertising ID. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization at any time in your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads (Android). Resetting or deleting the advertising ID limits ad personalization.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share data with the advertising, analytics, and attribution partners listed in Section 3 so they can perform those services; for legal reasons (to comply with law or lawful requests); and in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or asset sale).
U.S. state privacy note. Because the App serves personalized ads, the sharing of identifiers and app-activity data with advertising partners may be considered a "sale" or "sharing"/"targeted advertising" under certain U.S. state laws (e.g. California's CCPA/CPRA). You may opt out of ad personalization using the ad-consent prompt and the advertising-ID controls described in Section 3.
5. Legal Bases (EEA/UK — GDPR)
- Consent — for personalized advertising and, where required, analytics. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — for core functionality, security/fraud prevention, non-personalized measurement, and improving the App.
- Legal obligation — where we must process data to comply with law.
6. Data Retention
We and our partners retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Advertising and analytics identifiers are retained according to each partner's retention periods; crash and diagnostic data is kept for a limited period to fix issues.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, object to, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent or opt out of the sale/sharing of data and targeted advertising:
- EEA/UK (GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, restriction, withdrawal of consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with your Data Protection Authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): right to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising, and non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
- Other regions (e.g. LGPD, PIPEDA): equivalent rights under your local law.
Because the App has no accounts, please email us at the address in Section 12 to exercise your rights, and include your Google Advertising ID and device model so we can locate any associated data. You can also exercise ad choices directly via the controls in Section 3.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it. Advertising in the App is not designed for children, and the App is not enrolled in the Google Play "Designed for Families" program.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers operate. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Data Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
