Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Veilo mobile application ("the App"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. The App is not directed to children under that age.

2. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, or reverse-engineer the App except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

3. The Service

Veilo is a private web browser with a built-in VPN that routes your device's internet connection through an encrypted tunnel and lets you browse the open web. Server availability, features, and performance may vary by region and network conditions and may change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. A VPN increases privacy but does not provide absolute anonymity and does not replace safe browsing practices.

4. Ads and Free Access

The App is free to download and use and is supported by advertising. The first VPN server is free to use; you can unlock additional servers for your current session by watching a rewarded advertisement. Rewarded unlocks are temporary and apply only to the current session. The App has no subscriptions or in-app purchases. Ads are provided by third-party networks (see the Privacy Policy) and, where you consent, may be personalized.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to: (a) break any law or regulation, or access content or conduct activities that are illegal in your jurisdiction; (b) infringe others' rights; (c) disrupt, overload, or interfere with the App, its servers, or its networks; (d) bypass or circumvent ads, access controls, rate limits, or security measures; or (e) use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the App. You are solely responsible for the websites you access and the activities you conduct through the VPN and browser. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, trademarks, logos, and software are owned by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC and its licensors. Third-party trademarks and website content accessed through the browser belong to their respective owners; their appearance in the App does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

7. Third-Party Services and Content

The App uses third-party services (including advertising, mediation, crash reporting, and VPN server infrastructure) and lets you access third-party websites and content, each subject to its own terms and privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services or content, including the availability, legality, or safety of any website you visit.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or that the VPN will guarantee anonymity, prevent all tracking, or be available in every region. Nothing in the App is professional advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tranquil Mind Technology JSC from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the App, your use of the VPN or browser, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, including for breach of these Terms. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, with venue in Hanoi, Vietnam. Mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under your local law are preserved.
