Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StarRing mobile application ("the App"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App.
2. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, or reverse-engineer the App except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
3. The Service
StarRing is an entertainment app that simulates prank video calls and chats with fictional star-style characters. Every call, chat, name, image, and message is simulated and pretend — the App does not provide real communication with any celebrity, public figure, or other person. Availability and content may vary by region and change over time, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time.
4. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Ads
The App is free to download and is supported by advertising. Some features may be unlocked by watching a rewarded ad. The App also offers optional weekly, monthly, and lifetime purchases:
- Purchases and subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in Google Play → Subscriptions. A lifetime plan is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
- Refunds are handled according to Google Play policy and applicable consumer-protection law.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose, to harass, deceive, or harm others, to disrupt or interfere with the App, to bypass ads, paywalls, or access controls, to use bots or scrapers, or to infringe any intellectual-property or other rights. Using simulated calls to threaten, defraud, impersonate, or harass any person is strictly prohibited. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, its design, trademarks, software, and content are owned by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC or its licensors. All characters and scenarios are works of fiction; any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or to real events is coincidental or used purely for parody/entertainment. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any real person or brand. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners; their appearance does not imply affiliation.
7. Third-Party Services and Content
The App uses third-party services (advertising, analytics, attribution, and payments), each subject to its own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of third-party services.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. It is intended for entertainment only and is not professional advice. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tranquil Mind Technology JSC from any claims or damages arising out of your misuse of the App or breach of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including for breach of these Terms. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, with venue in Hanoi, Vietnam. Mandatory local consumer-protection rights available to you are preserved.
