Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CelebRing mobile application ("the App"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are a minor, you must have your parent or guardian's permission.
2. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, or reverse-engineer the App or any part of it, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
3. The Service
CelebRing is an entertainment and prank app that simulates video calls and text chats with on-screen characters. All calls and chats are simulations: each call plays a pre-recorded video, each chat reply comes from a fixed script, and no real communication with any person takes place. Availability of features may vary by region and may change over time; we may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time.
4. Ads and Unlocks
The App is free to download and use and is supported by advertising, including banner, full-screen, and rewarded ads. Some characters are locked; you may unlock a character for your current session by watching a rewarded ad, and these unlocks reset when you reopen the App. The App contains no in-app purchases and no subscriptions — there is nothing to buy. Advertising is provided by third parties as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable Use — Prank Responsibly
You agree to use the App lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you must not use the App to:
- deceive, defraud, scam, threaten, harass, bully, defame, or impersonate any person for a harmful or unlawful purpose;
- make others believe a simulated call or message is a genuine communication from a real person in order to cause harm, obtain money, or gain an advantage;
- create custom characters using another person's photo or likeness without their consent;
- upload or create content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or infringes anyone's rights;
- disrupt the App, bypass ads or access controls, or use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access it.
The App is meant for harmless fun, and only with people who will enjoy the joke. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, its design, software, trademarks, and original content are owned by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC and its licensors. Character names, images, and videos are presented for entertainment and parody purposes only; any third-party names, likenesses, or marks belong to their respective owners, and their appearance in the App does not imply affiliation with, endorsement by, or any connection to those owners. If you are a rights holder and believe content in the App should be removed, contact us at the email in Section 14.
7. Third-Party Services and Content
The App uses third-party services (advertising, analytics, and attribution) and displays third-party names and imagery, each subject to its providers' or owners' own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, including their availability, accuracy, or practices.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Simulated calls and chats are fictional entertainment and are not real communications and not professional advice of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any misuse of the App by you or others. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tranquil Mind Technology JSC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the App or your breach of these Terms, including any prank or custom character that harms another person or infringes their rights.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, including for breach of these Terms. Sections concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of Hanoi, Vietnam. Mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under your local law are preserved.
