Privacy Policy
CelebRing ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
CelebRing is an entertainment and prank app that simulates video calls and text chats with on-screen characters; every call plays a pre-recorded video and every chat reply comes from a fixed script — no real calls or conversations take place. You do not need to create an account to use the App, and we do not ask you to sign in.
1. Information We Collect
We do not ask you for your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials. The App has no login and no user profile on our servers. The information involved falls into two groups:
A. Information collected automatically by third-party SDKs
When you use the App, the advertising, analytics, and attribution services listed in Section 3 automatically collect:
- Device and advertising identifiers — including the Google Advertising ID (AAID) and similar device identifiers.
- Approximate location — derived from your IP address by advertising partners for ad targeting and fraud prevention. We do not collect precise/GPS location, and the App requests no location permission.
- App activity — in-app interactions and events (for example which screens you open and which features you use), used for analytics and advertising measurement.
- Crash logs and diagnostics — technical data such as device model, operating-system version, and crash stack traces, used to keep the App stable.
B. Information you provide and that stays on your device
Some features let you add content that is stored only on your device and is never uploaded to us or any third party:
- Photos, images, and videos you select from your gallery when you create a custom character. These are copied into the App's private storage on your phone to display your custom character; they do not leave your device.
- Custom character names, call history, and chat history, saved locally on your phone.
Your device camera is used only to show a live preview of you during a simulated call. The preview is not recorded, not stored, and not transmitted, and the App does not record audio (the microphone permission is explicitly removed).
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Operate and provide the App — display characters, run simulated calls and chats, and remember your local settings and history.
- Show and measure advertising — including personalized ads served by our advertising partners, and rewarded ads that unlock a character for your current session.
- Analytics and improvement — understand how the App is used so we can fix problems and improve features.
- Fraud prevention and security — detect invalid traffic and protect the App and our partners.
- Legal compliance — comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.
We do not use the on-device content described in Section 1(B) for any of the purposes above; it never reaches us.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, which may collect and process data as described in their own privacy policies:

- AppsFlyer (AppsFlyer Ltd.) — mobile attribution and analytics — Privacy Policy
Advertising ID. Our advertising and analytics partners use your device's advertising ID. You can reset this ID or opt out of ad personalization at any time in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
Ad consent. Where required by law (for example in the EEA and the UK), the App presents a consent message managed through Google's User Messaging Platform before personalized ads are shown, so you can consent to or decline personalized advertising. You can change your choice later from the App's settings where available.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We share the categories of data in Section 1(A) with the advertising, analytics, and attribution partners listed in Section 3 so they can provide their services. We may also disclose information (i) to comply with law or a valid legal request, (ii) to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or us, and (iii) in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
U.S. state privacy note. Because the App uses advertising identifiers to deliver personalized ads, some U.S. state privacy laws (for example the CCPA/CPRA in California) may treat this as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out of personalized advertising by resetting or limiting your advertising ID as described in Section 3 and by declining consent where the consent prompt is shown.
5. Legal Bases (EEA/UK — GDPR)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: consent for personalized advertising and analytics where consent is required; legitimate interests for core functionality, security, fraud prevention, and product improvement; and legal obligation where we must process data to comply with the law. You may withdraw consent at any time.
6. Data Retention
We retain the data we process only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law. Advertising and analytics partners retain device/advertising identifiers according to their own retention periods (see their policies in Section 3). Crash and diagnostic data is kept for a limited period to investigate and fix issues. Content stored on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the App.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- GDPR / UK GDPR (EEA, UK): access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- CCPA / CPRA (California) and similar U.S. state laws: to know, delete, and correct personal information; to opt out of the "sale"/"sharing" of personal information and targeted advertising; and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
- Other regions (e.g. LGPD in Brazil, PIPEDA in Canada): comparable rights under local law.
To exercise a right, contact us at the email in Section 13. Because the App has no account, we cannot look you up by name — please include your advertising ID and device details (model and OS version) in your request so we can work with our partners to act on it. You can delete the App's on-device data at any time yourself by clearing the App's data or uninstalling it.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the higher minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps. The App includes an age gate and a parental notice; personalized advertising is subject to the consent and controls described above.
9. International Data Transfers
Our third-party partners may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards (for example the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses).
10. Data Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for data transmitted by the App's SDKs and take reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Third-Party Content and Characters
The App displays character names, images, and videos for entertainment and parody purposes only. These simulations are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any real person, public figure, brand, studio, or rights holder. We are not responsible for third-party services or any content they provide; please review their policies. If you are a rights holder and believe content should be removed, contact us at the email in Section 13.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
