Voxlock ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

Voxlock is a custom lock-screen utility that secures your device with a voice, PIN, pattern, or time-based unlock and lets you personalize your lock screen with themes and wallpapers. You do not need to create an account to use it.

1. Information We Collect

We do not ask you to register or provide personal details such as your name or email. The App collects the following automatically to run, secure, and monetize the service:

• Device and advertising identifiers — including the Android Advertising ID (AD_ID) and similar device identifiers, used by our advertising and analytics partners.
• Approximate location — derived by advertising partners from your IP address (not GPS). The App does not request precise/GPS location permission.
• App activity — in-app events and interactions (e.g. screens viewed, features used) for analytics.
• Crash logs and diagnostics — technical information about crashes and performance to keep the App stable.

Processed only on your device — not collected by us

• Voice — when you set or use Voice Lock, speech is converted to text and verified on your device. Your voice recording and unlock phrase are stored locally and are not uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties.
• Phone state — the App reads call state locally only so the lock does not interfere with incoming calls. This information is not transmitted.

Your lock settings (lock type, PIN, pattern, chosen theme) are stored locally on your device and are not sent to us.

• Provide and operate the lock screen and its features;
• Display and measure advertising;
• Analytics and product improvement;
• Fraud prevention, security, and abuse detection;
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share data with the advertising, analytics, and attribution partners listed in Section 3, for legal or safety reasons, and in a business transfer (merger, acquisition).

• Consent — personalized advertising and analytics where consent is required;
• Legitimate interests — core lock functionality, security, and product improvement;
• Legal obligation — compliance with applicable law.

6. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Advertising and attribution partners retain identifiers per their own policies; crash and diagnostic data are kept for a limited period.

7. Your Rights

• GDPR (EEA/UK): access, correct, delete, port, object, restrict, withdraw consent, and complain to a data protection authority.
• CCPA/CPRA (California): know, delete, correct, opt out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising, and non-discrimination.
• Other regions (LGPD, PIPEDA, etc.): equivalent rights where applicable.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users 18 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it. We handle age-restricted data consistent with COPPA and applicable EEA age-of-consent rules.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we and our partners rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and reasonable measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Policy.
