Privacy Policy
Turbolt ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
Turbolt is a game hub for Android: it keeps the games you choose in one list and, for each game, quickly applies standard Android settings you could also change yourself (Do Not Disturb, screen brightness, screen timeout, volume). You do not need to create an account to use it, and the App has no account or sign-in system.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information that stays on your device
The core features of Turbolt work on your device. The following information is read or stored only on your device and is not sent to us or to any third party:
- Your game list, per-game profiles and settings. The games you add, the settings you choose for each game (brightness, screen timeout, volume, Do Not Disturb options), your selected mode, language and preferences are saved in the App's local storage.
- Session summaries. After a game session the App shows how long you played, how much battery was used and the peak battery temperature. These figures are calculated and stored on your device.
- Device status readings. The App reads memory (RAM) usage, battery level, charging status and battery temperature, free/used internal storage, and your screen's refresh rates, to display them in the App, in the floating game toolkit and in the home-screen widget.
- System settings values. The App reads and, when you ask it to, changes screen brightness, auto-brightness, screen timeout, auto-rotate, touch sounds, haptic feedback, ringer/media volume and Do Not Disturb.
1.1a List of installed apps
To let you add games, the App reads the name, package name and icon of apps that have a launcher entry on your device (standard Android launcher-intent query). We use this list only to provide the App's features (showing your apps so you can pick games, suggesting apps to add, and launching the games you choose). Because the App accesses this information, we declare "Installed apps" as data collected for app functionality in our Google Play Data safety section. We do not use this list for advertising or analytics, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties.
The App does not access your contacts, messages, call logs, photos, files, camera, microphone or location. The "starred contacts" option only sets Android's own Do Not Disturb rule; the App never reads who your starred contacts are.
1.2 Information collected automatically (leaves your device)
Through the Google Firebase services listed in Section 3, the following is collected automatically:
- App activity: screens viewed and basic in-app events (for example, app opens and interactions with reminder notifications).
- Device and app information: device model, operating-system version, app version, language, and app-instance / Firebase installation identifiers.
- Advertising ID: Google Analytics for Firebase may read your device's Android advertising ID. We use it only for analytics (for example, counting active installs); we do not use it to show ads, and the App contains no advertising. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).
- Approximate location: a coarse, country/region-level location that Google Analytics derives from your IP address. The App does not request location permission.
- Crash logs and diagnostics: stack traces, device state at the time of a crash and performance data (Crashlytics). Crash collection is enabled only in release builds.
1.3 Network check (ping)
When the floating game toolkit is on, the App measures network latency by opening a brief connection to Google Public DNS (8.8.8.8, port 53) and timing how long it takes. No personal data or content is sent in this check; as with any internet connection, the receiving server necessarily sees your IP address.
1.4 Information you provide
The App has no forms or accounts. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
2. How we use information
- To provide and operate the App's features (your game list, per-game settings, modes, the game toolkit, the widget and the storage overview).
- To send optional reminder notifications about the App (you can turn notifications off at any time in Android settings).
- To understand how the App is used and to improve it (analytics).
- To detect, diagnose and fix crashes and performance problems.
- To respond to your requests and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising. The App contains no advertising SDK and shows no ads.
3. Third-party services
The App uses the following third-party services, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:
| Service | Provider | Purpose | Data processed | Policy |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Firebase Analytics | Google LLC | Usage analytics | App activity, device info, app-instance ID, advertising ID, approximate location (from IP) | Google Privacy Policy · Firebase privacy |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Google LLC | Crash reporting and diagnostics | Crash logs, device state, installation ID | Firebase privacy |
| Firebase Remote Config | Google LLC | Remotely adjust reminder-notification settings | Firebase installation ID, app version, device info | Firebase privacy |
| Google Play In-App Review and In-App Updates | Google LLC | Let you rate the App and receive updates without leaving it | Handled by Google Play under your Google account | Google Privacy Policy |
| Google Public DNS (ping check only) | Google LLC | Measure network latency for the game toolkit | IP address (connection only) | Google Public DNS privacy |
The App does not include advertising, attribution, social-login or payment SDKs.
4. How we share information
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We share information only with the service providers in Section 3, which process it on our behalf to provide their services.
- We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process or a valid governmental request, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, us or others.
- If we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
5. Legal bases (EEA/UK — GDPR)
- Legitimate interests: operating the App, keeping it secure and stable (crash reporting), and improving it (analytics).
- Consent: where required by local law (for example, for analytics or notifications); you can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: where we must process information to comply with the law.
6. Data retention
- Data stored on your device remains until you delete it in the App, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App.
- Google Analytics data is retained according to our Firebase retention setting (up to 14 months) and then deleted.
- Crashlytics crash reports are retained for up to 90 days.
- Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- GDPR / UK GDPR (EEA and UK): access, correct, delete or port your personal data; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
- CCPA / CPRA (California) and other U.S. states: know what personal information we collect, request deletion or correction, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it), and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
- Other regions (for example Brazil's LGPD and Canada's PIPEDA): similar rights of access, correction, deletion and information about sharing.
You can delete all on-device data at any time by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling it. To exercise any right regarding data collected through Firebase, email us at contact@tranquilmind.co. Because the App has no accounts, please include your device model, the approximate date you used the App and, if available, your advertising ID so we can help locate the relevant data.
8. Children's privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13 (or under the higher minimum age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International data transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses used by Google.
10. Data security
Data sent to our service providers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
11. Device permissions and how they are used
Turbolt asks only for the permissions below, and uses each one only for the feature described. None of them is used for advertising or to sell your personal data.
| Permission | What it is used for |
|---|---|
Modify system settings (WRITE_SETTINGS) | Change screen brightness, auto-brightness, screen timeout, auto-rotate, touch sounds and haptic feedback when you apply a mode or a game profile. You grant it in Android settings. |
Do Not Disturb access (ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY) | Turn Do Not Disturb on or off for your game sessions, optionally still allowing calls from starred contacts and repeat callers. The App does not read your contacts. |
Display over other apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW) | Show the floating game toolkit bubble and the touch-lock layer on top of your game. The touch lock is a transparent layer the App draws on screen; it does not observe or record what you touch or what is on screen. |
Foreground service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE) | Keep the game toolkit running while you play, only after you switch it on. |
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) | Show the toolkit status notification and optional reminders about the App. |
Internet and network state (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) | Firebase services described above and the ping check. |
| Installed-apps visibility (launcher query) | Show the apps on your device so you can pick which ones to add as games. |
The App does not use an Accessibility Service, does not request "All files access", and does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts or photo permissions. The Storage cleaner only clears the App's own cache and then opens Android's built-in storage manager; the App never deletes your personal files.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
