Privacy Policy
Stickpeel ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
Stickpeel is a sticker-maker app: you pick a photo from your gallery or take one with your camera, remove its background on your device, decorate it, and export the result as a sticker pack to WhatsApp or Telegram or as a .zip file. You do not need to create an account, sign in, or give us your name, email or phone number to use it.
1. Information we collect
Information collected automatically and sent to our service providers
- Device and advertising identifiers — Android advertising ID (AAID), Firebase app-instance ID, device model and manufacturer, OS version, app version, language and country, network type.
- Approximate location derived from your IP address (country / region level only). The App does not request GPS and declares no location permission.
- App activity and diagnostics — screens opened, features used, ad impressions, clicks and ad revenue events, session length, crash logs, stack traces and performance data.
- Install attribution data — referrer and campaign information used to measure which marketing channel led to your install.
- Installed-apps information — to show the right export button, the App checks whether WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business or Telegram is installed (the only packages it is allowed to query, declared in the manifest
<queries>block). The App itself does not upload this answer, but the advertising, attribution and analytics SDKs listed in §3 run inside the App and may collect and transmit information about apps on your device for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. We therefore treat installed-apps information as collected and shared. - Rewarded-ad unlocks — which bundled sticker packs you unlocked by watching a rewarded ad. This is kept in memory for the current session only, is reset when the App restarts, and is not sent to us.
Information that stays on your device and is never uploaded to us
- Your photos and images. Pictures you pick from the gallery or capture with the camera are read, cut out and edited entirely on your device. Background removal runs locally with the open-source
image_background_removerlibrary on ONNX Runtime — there is no cloud image service, and your pictures are never sent to us or to any third party by the App. - Your sticker packs — the stickers, packs, tray icons, names and favourites you create, stored in the App's private storage and removed when you uninstall the App.
- Your settings — language, onboarding state, notification-prompt state and similar preferences, stored in local app storage.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, calendar, microphone or audio input, precise location, SMS or call logs. The App requests no such permissions.
2. How we use information
- To provide and operate the App: import a photo, remove its background, build and export sticker packs.
- To show advertising, including rewarded ads, frequency capping and ad measurement.
- For analytics and product improvement (which features are used, where users drop off).
- For crash reporting, stability and performance monitoring.
- For fraud prevention, security and abuse detection, including invalid ad traffic.
- To deliver rewarded ads and confirm that a reward was earned before a bundled pack is unlocked.
- To show the on-device notifications and in-app review / update prompts you interact with.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your information for credit, employment, insurance or any automated decision-making with legal effect.
3. Third-party services
The App integrates the following third-party SDKs, which may receive or process data as described. The ad networks below are AdMob mediation adapters compiled into the Android app (android/app/build.gradle) — they are active even though you only see one ad.

Ad consent (Google UMP / IAB TCF). If you are in the EEA, the UK or another region where consent is required, the App shows a Google User Messaging Platform consent form before personalized ads are served. Your choice is stored in the IAB TCF consent string on your device and is forwarded to the mediation networks listed above (Pangle, Liftoff Monetize, Mintegral, Unity Ads) so they honour your GDPR and CCPA choices. You can change your choice from the consent form at any time.
Resetting or opting out of the advertising ID. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in Settings → Google → Ads. On iOS, the App asks for App Tracking Transparency permission and you can change it in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Camera and photo access. Camera and gallery access is requested only when you add an image to a sticker. It is used to read that image locally; the image itself is not transmitted by the App.
4. How we share information
- We do not sell your personal information for money.
- We share the data described above with the third-party providers listed in §3, strictly for the purposes stated.
- We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, users' safety or investigate fraud.
- In a merger, acquisition or asset transfer, information may be transferred to the successor entity.
- Sticker export. When you export a pack, the sticker image files are handed to the app you choose (WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, Telegram, or any app you select in the system share sheet), or saved as a
.zipyou control. From that point the receiving app's own privacy policy applies. We do not upload your stickers to our servers. - U.S. state notice: where personalized advertising is enabled, the use of advertising identifiers for targeted advertising may be considered "sharing" or a "sale" under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA. You can opt out via the ad-consent form or the device-level advertising-ID controls described in §3.
5. Legal bases (EEA/UK — GDPR)
- Consent — personalized advertising, marketing attribution and analytics where consent is required (withdrawable at any time via the consent form).
- Legitimate interests — providing core functionality, security and fraud prevention, aggregate product improvement, non-personalized advertising.
- Contract — providing the App and the features you request under these terms.
- Legal obligation — retaining records where law requires.
6. Data retention
Analytics and crash data are retained for the retention windows configured in Firebase (typically up to 14 months for event data; shorter for crash and diagnostic data). Advertising and attribution partners retain identifiers according to their own policies (§3). Your photos, stickers, packs and settings stay on your device until you delete them in the App or uninstall it.
7. Your rights
GDPR / UK GDPR — you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, object to or restrict processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
CCPA / CPRA — you have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, to opt out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Other regions — comparable rights apply under LGPD (Brazil), PIPEDA (Canada) and similar laws.
To exercise any right, email contact@tranquilmind.co. Because the App has no accounts, we cannot identify you by name — please include your advertising ID, device model and Android/iOS version so we can locate and delete the relevant records. Content you created inside the App can be deleted by you at any time by deleting the pack or uninstalling the App. We respond within the time limits set by applicable law.
8. Children's privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and over (or the higher age of digital consent in your country) and is not directed to children. The App is not configured as child-directed for advertising purposes and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA where applicable). In line with COPPA, if we learn that we have collected such information we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact contact@tranquilmind.co.
The App contains no chat, messaging, comments, user profiles, social feed or any other way for users to communicate with one another or to publish content to other users, so it hosts no user-to-user interaction that could expose a minor to another user.
9. International data transfers
Your information may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States, where our service providers operate. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Data security
Data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Your images and sticker packs are kept in the App's private storage on your device. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Third-party content
Advertisements shown in the App come from third-party ad networks and may link to external websites or app stores that we do not control. Exporting a pack hands your files to another app you choose. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties — please review their policies.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
