Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Plotwist mobile application ("the App"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (https://policy.tranquilmind.co/plotwist/privacy). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old — or older, if your country sets a higher age of digital consent — to use the App. The series available in the App may contain mature dramatic themes. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

2. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on a device you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, translate, adapt, decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer the App, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it, and you may not rent, lease, sublicense, or sell it.

3. The service

Plotwist is a vertical short-drama app where every episode ends on a twist: you swipe through bite-sized series, save the ones you want to finish, and resume where you stopped. The App does not require an account — your progress, saved series, coins, unlocks, and preferences are stored on your device. The catalogue is supplied by our content partners; titles, availability, and features vary by region and may change, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time.

4. Coins, rewarded ads, and subscriptions

• Advertising. The App is free to download and is supported by advertising (banner, interstitial, native, rewarded, and app-open formats).
• Rewarded ads and coins. You may choose to watch a rewarded advertisement to earn coins, to unlock a premium episode, or to obtain a temporary ad-free period. Coins and rewards have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, sold, or refunded, and exist only on the device where they were earned. They are lost if you clear the App's data, uninstall the App, or change devices. We may change reward amounts, unlock prices, or discontinue the coin system at any time.
• Premium (VIP) subscription. The App offers optional weekly, monthly, and yearly VIP subscriptions — which remove advertising and unlock premium episodes — sold through Google Play Billing and managed by our billing provider. Prices are shown in the App before purchase, in your local currency where available. A free trial, where offered, applies to first-time subscribers only.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions; deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds. Purchases are handled by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's refund policy and to any mandatory consumer rights in your country. We do not process payments and cannot issue store refunds directly.
• Restore. You can restore an active subscription on a new device from the App's premium screen using the Google account that made the purchase.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; download, record, screen-capture, rip, redistribute, publicly perform, or otherwise copy the video content; circumvent or attempt to circumvent paywalls, advertising, episode locks, geographic restrictions, or any technical protection measure; tamper with, repackage, modify, or run a modified copy of the App; use emulators, hooking frameworks, bots, scrapers, or automated tools against the App or our servers; falsify ad impressions or reward events; or interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the App or our providers' services. We may suspend or terminate your access, and disable rewards or unlocks obtained fraudulently, if you breach this section.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its name, logo, design, user interface, and software are owned by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Series, episodes, artwork, and subtitles are the property of their respective rights holders and are made available to you under license — no ownership is transferred to you. All series are works of fiction; any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or to actual events, is coincidental. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners; their appearance in the App does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

7. Third-party services and content

The App uses third-party services for advertising, analytics, attribution, payments, app-integrity protection, and content delivery, and streams licensed content supplied by our content partners. Each of those services and content sources is governed by its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the catalogue will always contain any particular title, that playback will be free of interruption, or that defects will be corrected. Content in the App is provided for entertainment only and is not professional advice of any kind.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tranquil Mind Technology JSC and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, coins, unlocks, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the App. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose, or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tranquil Mind Technology JSC and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the App, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or of the rights of a third party.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, including for breach of these Terms or for suspected fraud, piracy, or tampering. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, and 13 survive termination.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Hanoi, Vietnam have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected. We encourage you to contact us first — most issues can be resolved informally.
