Privacy Policy
Pebble Browser ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
Pebble Browser is a private, lightweight web browser with built-in ad and pop-up blocking for Android and iOS. You do not need to create an account to use it.
1. Information We Collect
We keep data collection to a minimum. We do not ask you to register an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or precise GPS location.
a) Information stored only on your device (not collected by us)
Your browsing activity — including web browsing history, open tabs, home-screen shortcuts, ad-block statistics, and app settings — is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us or our partners. Clearing it in the App or uninstalling the App removes it.
b) Information collected automatically when you use the App
Through the third-party services listed in Section 3, the following may be collected:
- Device and advertising identifiers — including the Google Advertising ID (Android) / Identifier for Advertisers (iOS), and device/installation identifiers.
- Approximate location — derived from your IP address (coarse, city/region level) for advertising and analytics. We do not collect precise/GPS location.
- App activity / interactions — in-app events such as screens viewed, features used, and ads shown, used for analytics and advertising measurement. This does not include the websites you visit.
- Crash logs and diagnostics — crash reports, error data, and performance/diagnostic information to keep the App stable.
- Purchase status — whether you hold an active Premium subscription (transaction status from Google Play / the App Store), used to unlock the ad-free experience. We do not collect or store your full payment card details; payments are processed by the app store.
- Technical data — device model, operating-system version, language/region, network state, and similar technical information.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features.
- Display and measure advertising (including, where permitted, personalized ads) in the free version.
- Analyze usage to fix bugs, improve stability, and develop new features.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- Process and validate subscriptions and restore purchases.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following third-party services, which may process the data described above under their own privacy policies:

4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only:
- with the third-party services listed in Section 3, so they can perform their functions;
- to comply with law, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests;
- to protect the rights, safety, and property of users, the public, or us;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Legal Bases (EEA/UK — GDPR)
- Consent — for personalized advertising and, where required, analytics. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — for core functionality, security, fraud prevention, non-personalized advertising, and product improvement.
- Contract / legal obligation — to process purchases and meet legal requirements.
6. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law. Advertising/analytics identifiers are retained according to our partners' retention periods; crash and diagnostic data are kept for a limited period to resolve issues. Data stored locally on your device remains until you clear it or uninstall the App.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- GDPR (EEA/UK): access, correct, delete, port, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent; and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
- CCPA/CPRA (California) and similar U.S. state laws: know, delete, and correct personal information; opt out of the "sale"/"sharing" of personal information and targeted advertising; and non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
- Other regions (e.g., LGPD in Brazil, PIPEDA in Canada): comparable rights under local law.
Because the App has no accounts, please exercise these rights by emailing us at the address in Section 13. To help us locate the relevant data, include your device advertising ID and device details. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 16 and older. It is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it. Note that, as a web browser, the App can access third-party websites across the internet; parents and guardians should supervise minors' use accordingly.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers operate. Where required, we and our partners use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for these transfers.
10. Data Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and other reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Third-Party Content
Pebble Browser is a web browser and displays websites, links, and content operated by third parties that we do not own or control. This Policy does not apply to those third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review the policies of any website you visit.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
