App: Onyx Browser Effective: July 12, 2026 Last Updated: July 12, 2026

Onyx Browser ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

Onyx Browser is a private, lightweight web browser with a built-in ad blocker. You do not need to create an account to use it, and we do not ask you to sign in.

1. Information We Collect

We do not ask you to provide personal information such as your name or email to use the App. We do not require an account. The App collects the following information automatically to operate, show ads, measure performance, and improve the product:

Your browsing activity stays on your device. Your browsing history, open tabs, bookmarks, and the web addresses you visit are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us or our partners. Clearing the App's data, or using Premium "no history" browsing, removes locally stored history.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, which may collect and process data as described in their own privacy policies:

ServicePurposePrivacy policy
Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config)Usage analytics, crash reporting, remote configurationfirebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google AdMobAdvertising (serving and measuring ads)policies.google.com/privacy

Ad consent (UMP / TCF). Where required (for example in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), the App presents a consent request managed through Google's User Messaging Platform and the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework before personalized ads are shown. Your choice determines whether ads are personalized or non-personalized. You can change your choice at any time from the App's Privacy options in Settings.
Resetting or limiting your advertising ID. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization at any time in your device settings: Settings → Privacy → Ads (Android). Resetting the ID prevents it from being linked to prior activity; opting out signals partners not to use it for personalized ads.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share the automatically-collected information described above with the third-party services in Section 3 so they can perform advertising, analytics, attribution, and payment functions on our behalf or, for ad networks, to serve and measure ads.

Because the App uses personalized advertising, certain data sharing with advertising partners may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some U.S. state privacy laws (e.g. California). You can opt out of personalized ads through the consent controls and advertising-ID settings described in Section 3, which limits this sharing.

We may also disclose information: (a) to comply with law, legal process, or lawful government requests; (b) to protect our rights, safety, and the security of users; and (c) as part of a merger, acquisition, or other business transfer, subject to this Policy.

Where GDPR applies, we rely on: consent for personalized advertising and non-essential analytics; legitimate interests for core functionality, security, fraud prevention, and product improvement; and performance of a contract / legal obligation for processing purchases. You may withdraw consent at any time via the App's Privacy options.

6. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Advertising, analytics, and attribution identifiers are retained according to each partner's retention periods; crash and diagnostic data are retained for a limited period needed to diagnose and fix issues.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights:

To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@tranquilmind.co. Because the App has no accounts, please include your device's advertising ID and relevant device details in your request so we and our partners can locate the associated data.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 16 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it. Where a higher local age of digital consent applies, that age governs.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers operate. Where required, we and our partners use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for these transfers.

10. Data Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for data sent to our partners and apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Third-Party Content

Onyx Browser lets you access websites and content operated by third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, content, or their privacy practices. Your use of any site you visit through the App is governed by that site's own terms and privacy policy — please review them.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
