Terms of Use

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the NIX Browser mobile application ("the App"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App.

2. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer the App except to the extent permitted by applicable law.

3. The Service

NIX Browser is a web browser with a built-in free VPN and an ad blocker. Availability of features (including VPN servers) may vary by region and may change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time.

VPN and lawful use. The built-in VPN is provided to help secure your connection. It does not make you anonymous and does not guarantee access to any specific website or service. You are responsible for using the VPN and the browser in compliance with all applicable laws and with the terms of the networks and websites you access.

4. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Ads

The App is free to download and is supported by advertising. You may optionally purchase ad removal through Google Play Billing on a weekly, monthly, or lifetime basis. Weekly and monthly plans are subscriptions that automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel them anytime in your Google Play account settings. The lifetime option is a one-time purchase. Refunds are handled according to Google Play policy and applicable consumer law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose; to disrupt or interfere with the App or its infrastructure; to bypass advertising, paywalls, or access controls; to use bots or scrapers; or to infringe the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, trademarks, and our content are owned by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC or its licensors. Third-party trademarks belong to their owners; their appearance in the App does not imply affiliation or endorsement. Content on third-party websites accessed through the browser belongs to its respective owners.

7. Third-Party Services and Content

The App uses third-party services (advertising, analytics, attribution, payments, and VPN connectivity) and lets you access third-party websites and content, each subject to its own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not provide professional advice and do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure operation, or that the VPN will be available or will unblock any particular content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid in the last 12 months or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tranquil Mind Technology JSC from claims arising out of your misuse of the App or breach of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including for breach of these Terms. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, with venue in Hanoi, Vietnam. Mandatory local consumer rights are preserved.
