Privacy Policy

Klarvo ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

Klarvo is a media player for IPTV playlists. It does not provide, host, stream, or sell any channels, films, or series — you supply your own M3U, M3U8, or Xtream Codes playlists, or open a playlist file stored on your device. You do not need to create an account with us to use the App, and we do not operate a user account system.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information collected automatically

When you use the App, the third-party services listed in Section 3 collect the following on our behalf or for their own advertising purposes:

• Device and advertising identifiers — the Android advertising ID (AAID), Firebase installation ID, Adjust device identifiers, and similar resettable identifiers, together with device model, operating system version, language, screen characteristics, and network type.
• Approximate location — derived from your IP address by our advertising and analytics partners for ad targeting, frequency capping, and regional reporting. The App does not request or use GPS. It declares no location permission of any kind, and we never receive your precise location.
• App activity — anonymous, aggregated usage events such as which screen you opened, when onboarding steps were completed, and when an ad was shown. These events do not include the names of channels you watch, the contents of your playlists, or the text you type into search.
• Information about apps installed on your device — when you use the "play in another app" feature, the App asks Android which installed applications can open a video stream (for example VLC or MX Player), and our advertising and attribution partners may receive installed-application signals from the device as part of their standard SDK operation. We do not build, store, or transmit a list of your installed apps ourselves.
• Crash logs and diagnostics — stack traces, error messages, device state at the time of a crash, and basic performance data, collected by Firebase Crashlytics so we can fix defects.
• Advertising interaction data — ad impressions, clicks, and attribution signals used to measure campaigns and detect invalid traffic.

1.2 Information you provide to us

None. The App has no registration, no sign-up form, no profile, and no contact form. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, photographs, contacts, or payment details. If you email our support address, we receive whatever you choose to write in that message.

1.3 Information that stays on your device and is never collected

The following is stored locally on your device only. It is not transmitted to us, and we cannot read it:

• The playlists you add — M3U and M3U8 links, Xtream Codes server addresses, and the channel, movie, and series entries parsed from them. For Xtream sources, the username and password issued to you by your provider are embedded in the stream links that are stored locally. These credentials belong to you and your provider; they are never sent to Tranquil Mind Technology JSC, and we have no access to your IPTV account.
• Playlist files you open from device storage, and any local video file you choose to play.
• Your favorites, watch history, custom collections, resume positions, recent searches, language choice, and playback preferences.
• Your parental-control PIN, which is stored only as a SHA-256 hash and is never transmitted.

Uninstalling the App deletes all of the above from your device.

2. How we use information

We use the information described in Section 1.1 to:

• Operate and maintain the App — load and refresh your playlists, render the program guide, resume playback, and apply your settings.
• Show advertising — Klarvo is free and is funded entirely by ads. Advertising and mediation partners use identifiers and IP-derived approximate location to select, deliver, cap, and measure ads.
• Measure and attribute campaigns — understand which marketing channels bring users to the App, without identifying you personally.
• Analyse and improve the App — see which features are used, where users drop off, and what to build or fix next.
• Diagnose crashes and defects — reproduce and fix errors reported by Crashlytics.
• Detect fraud and protect security — identify invalid ad traffic, automated abuse, and attempts to manipulate the service.
• Comply with legal obligations — respond to lawful requests and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not use your information to build a personal profile about your identity, and we do not track what you watch.

3. Third-party services

The App integrates the following third-party SDKs. Each processes data under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them. Links were correct at the date above; if one has moved, search for the provider's current privacy policy.

Advertising consent

Where required by law — including the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland — the App shows a Google-certified consent message (Google User Messaging Platform) before personalized advertising is enabled. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized and selected without the use of your advertising identifier for profiling. You can reopen the consent form at any time from the App's privacy settings, where that option is offered by the platform.

Resetting or opting out of the advertising ID

You control the advertising identifier at the operating-system level:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID, or Reset advertising ID.
• Deleting the advertising ID stops apps from receiving it, which limits ad personalization across your device.

You may also opt out of personalized advertising from many partners at youradchoices.com and networkadvertising.org/choices.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:

• With the service providers and advertising partners listed in Section 3, for the purposes described there.
• For legal reasons — where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or an enforceable governmental request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tranquil Mind Technology JSC, our users, or the public.
• In a business transfer — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Note for residents of California and other U.S. states: the delivery of personalized advertising through the partners in Section 3 may qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, or as "targeted advertising", under the CCPA/CPRA and comparable state laws, even though no money changes hands. You can opt out by declining the consent message where it is shown, by deleting or resetting your advertising ID as described in Section 3, or by contacting us at contact@tranquilmind.co.

5. Legal bases for processing (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal data on these legal bases under the GDPR / UK GDPR:

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — personalized advertising, and analytics where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — operating and securing the App, non-personalized advertising, fraud prevention, crash diagnostics, and product improvement, balanced against your rights and freedoms.
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — retaining records and responding to lawful requests where the law requires it.

The controller for this processing is Tranquil Mind Technology JSC (contact details in Section 13).

6. Data retention

• Analytics and advertising data is retained by our partners according to their own retention schedules; Firebase Analytics user-level data is retained for a limited period configured in our Firebase project, after which it is deleted or aggregated.
• Crash logs and diagnostics are retained by Firebase Crashlytics for a limited period (typically up to 90 days) and then deleted.
• Attribution data is retained by Adjust for the period set out in its policy.
• On-device data (playlists, favorites, history, PIN hash, preferences) is retained until you delete it in the App or uninstall the App.

We retain nothing on our own servers, because Klarvo has no back-end account system.

7. Your rights and choices

Everyone

• Delete or reset your advertising ID at the operating-system level (Section 3).
• Decline or withdraw consent to personalized advertising where the consent message is shown.
• Clear the App's cache and delete playlists, favorites, history, and collections from within the App.
• Uninstall the App, which removes all locally stored data from your device.

EEA, UK, and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR)

You have the right to access your personal data, to rectify inaccurate data, to erasure, to restrict or object to processing (including profiling for direct marketing), to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

California (CCPA / CPRA) and other U.S. states

You have the right to know what personal information is collected, used, and disclosed; to delete it; to correct it; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising; to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA); and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

Other regions

Residents of Brazil (LGPD), Canada (PIPEDA), and other jurisdictions with comparable laws may exercise equivalent rights.

How to exercise your rights

Email contact@tranquilmind.co with your request. Because the App has no accounts, we cannot look you up by name or email. To let us or our partners locate the data that relates to your device, please include your advertising ID (Android: Settings → Google → Ads), your device model and Android version, and the approximate date you last used the App. We will respond within the period required by applicable law — 30 days under the GDPR and 45 days under the CCPA, each extendable where the law permits. We may need to ask for more information to verify a request; if we cannot verify or locate the data, we will explain why.

8. Children's privacy

Klarvo is intended for users aged 16 and over and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the applicable age of digital consent in your country, which is up to 16 in parts of the EEA).

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has used the App and provided information to us or our partners, contact contact@tranquilmind.co and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

The App includes a parental control feature: a 4-digit PIN, stored on the device as a SHA-256 hash, that hides playlist categories labelled as adult content from the rest of the App. This control operates on categories as labelled by your playlist provider and cannot guarantee that all mature content is caught. Because Klarvo plays third-party sources that we neither supply nor review, adults are responsible for supervising any use of the App by minors and for the playlists they add.

9. International data transfers

Tranquil Mind Technology JSC is based in Vietnam, and our service providers operate globally, including in the United States. Your information may therefore be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries whose data-protection laws differ from those of your own country.

Where such transfers involve personal data from the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, they are made under appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, as implemented by the relevant service provider, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

10. Data security

All data transmitted by the App's analytics, crash-reporting, and advertising SDKs is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Data stored on your device is protected by the operating system's application sandbox, and the parental-control PIN is stored only as a cryptographic hash.

Please be aware that playlist and stream traffic goes directly from your device to the provider you chose, and that many IPTV providers still serve M3U playlists and streams over unencrypted HTTP. The App permits plain HTTP so that such providers work at all. Traffic to those endpoints — including Xtream credentials embedded in stream links — may be visible on the network you are using. Use a provider that supports HTTPS where possible, and avoid entering provider credentials on untrusted networks.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Third-party content and streams

Klarvo is a player. We do not provide, host, curate on your behalf, transmit, or control the content you access through the playlists you add. Those streams come from providers you choose and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability, legality, accuracy, or data practices, and adding a playlist to Klarvo creates no relationship between us and that provider.

The App also includes a small built-in list of publicly available international news streams and official 24/7 YouTube live channels, offered as a convenience. These are played from the publishers' own public endpoints and from YouTube's official embedded player. Watching them is subject to those publishers' and Google's terms and privacy policies. Klarvo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any broadcaster or content provider.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice in the App or at this URL. Your continued use of the App after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
