Kairo Browser ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

Kairo Browser is a fast, lightweight web browser with a built-in ad blocker. You do not need to create an account to use it. Your browsing history and in-app searches are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.

1. Information We Collect

We do not ask you to register or provide personal details, and we do not collect the web pages you visit or your browsing/search history — those stay on your device.

The App and the third-party services it uses automatically collect a limited set of data that leaves your device:

• Device and advertising identifiers — including the Google Advertising ID (GAID) and similar device identifiers, used for advertising, attribution, and analytics.
• Approximate location — coarse, IP-derived location inferred by advertising services for ad targeting and measurement. We do not collect precise/GPS location, and the App does not request a location permission.
• App activity / interactions — how you use the App's own screens (e.g. features used, sessions), for analytics and advertising.
• Crash logs and diagnostics — crash reports, error data, and performance/diagnostic information to keep the App stable.
• Purchase status — whether you have purchased the ad-free Premium option, processed through Google Play Billing (we do not receive your payment card details).

2. How We Use Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App.
• Serve and measure advertising, including personalized advertising where permitted.
• Analyze usage to understand and improve the App.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
• Process and validate purchases (ad-free Premium).
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share data only with the third-party services listed in Section 3, for the purposes described; when required by law or to respond to lawful requests; and in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or asset sale).

5. Legal Bases (EEA/UK — GDPR)

• Consent — personalized advertising and analytics where consent is required (via the UMP form).
• Legitimate interests — core functionality, security, fraud prevention, and product improvement.
• Contract / legal obligation — processing purchases and meeting legal requirements.

6. Data Retention

We and our partners keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Advertising and analytics identifiers are retained according to each partner's retention periods; crash and diagnostic data is retained for a limited period to resolve issues.

7. Your Rights

• GDPR (EEA/UK): access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, restriction, withdrawal of consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
• CCPA/CPRA (California): know, delete, correct, opt out of "sale"/"sharing" and targeted advertising, and non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
• Other regions (e.g. LGPD, PIPEDA): equivalent rights under applicable local law.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users 18 years of age or older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps. We comply with COPPA and applicable minimum-age requirements (including the relevant age of digital consent in the EEA).

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are used.

10. Data Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and other reasonable measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Third-Party Content

Kairo Browser lets you access websites and content operated by third parties. We do not own, control, or endorse that content and are not responsible for it. Third-party sites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies; please review them.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
