Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kairo Chat mobile application ("the App"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the higher age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App.

2. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the App except to the extent permitted by law.

3. The Service

Kairo Chat is an AI companion chat app where you converse — by text or voice — with AI characters whose personality you can customize. Conversations are generated by artificial intelligence, are fictional, and may be inaccurate; they are not professional advice. Availability may vary by region and may change; we may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature.

4. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Ads

The App is free to download and supported by advertising. It offers optional Premium subscriptions and/or one-time purchases through Google Play Billing. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel anytime in your Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled under Google Play policy and applicable consumer law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App unlawfully; not to disrupt it; not to bypass paywalls, ads, or access controls; not to use bots or scrapers; and not to infringe others' rights. In particular, you must not use the App to create, request, share, or promote content that sexualizes or endangers minors, or any other illegal content. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, trademarks, characters, and content are owned by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC or its licensors. All AI characters and conversations are works of fiction; any resemblance to real persons or events is coincidental. Third-party marks belong to their owners; their appearance does not imply affiliation.

7. Third-Party Services and Content

The App uses third-party services (advertising, analytics, payments, and an AI provider) and displays AI-generated content, each subject to its own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated responses are not professional advice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid in the last 12 months or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Tranquil Mind Technology JSC against claims arising from your misuse of the App or breach of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including for breach of these Terms. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam; venue is Hanoi, Vietnam. Mandatory local consumer rights are preserved.
