Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Jade Browser mobile application ("the App"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the higher age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App.
2. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse-engineer the App except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
3. The Service
Jade Browser is a lightweight web browser with a built-in ad and pop-up blocker that lets you access third-party websites. Availability and features may vary by region and may change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time.
4. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Ads
The App is free to download and use and is supported by advertising. You may optionally purchase an ad-removal upgrade through Google Play Billing:
- Optional Weekly or Monthly subscriptions, or a one-time Lifetime purchase, remove in-app ads.
- Subscriptions auto-renew for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your Google Play account settings.
- Refunds are handled according to Google Play policy and applicable consumer law.
The built-in ad blocker blocks advertising on the websites you visit; it does not remove ads shown within the App itself (those are removed by the purchases above).
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; disrupt or interfere with the App or its security; bypass paywalls, advertising, or access controls; use bots, scrapers, or automated means; or infringe the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, its design, trademarks, and original content are owned by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC and its licensors. Third-party trademarks and content (including websites you access) belong to their respective owners; their appearance in or through the App does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
7. Third-Party Services and Content
The App uses third-party services (advertising, analytics, attribution, and payments) and enables access to third-party websites and content, each subject to its own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or for the content, accuracy, or practices of the websites you access through the App.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that content accessed through it is accurate or appropriate. The App is a general-purpose utility and is not a substitute for professional advice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the App is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tranquil Mind Technology JSC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the App or your breach of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, including for breach of these Terms. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, with venue in Hanoi, Vietnam. Mandatory consumer protections available to you under your local law are preserved.
