Privacy Policy
Fetchly Downloader ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
Fetchly Downloader is a video and file downloader with a built-in offline player and library: you paste a link and the App saves the video, audio, or file to your device to view offline. You do not need to create an account to use it.
1. Information We Collect
We do not ask you to register or provide personal details such as your name or email to use the App. The App works primarily on your device. We (and our third-party partners) automatically collect certain information needed to serve ads, measure performance, and keep the App working:
- Device and advertising identifiers — including the Android Advertising ID (AAID), and on iOS the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) where you allow it, plus device model, operating system version, language, and similar technical data.
- Approximate location — a coarse, city/region-level location derived from your IP address by our advertising partners for ad targeting and measurement. We do not collect precise/GPS location.
- App activity — how you interact with the App (screens viewed, features used, downloads initiated) and, where applicable, in-app search or link input, used for analytics and advertising.
- Crash logs and diagnostics — crash reports, error logs, and performance data used to diagnose problems and improve stability.
- Feedback you choose to provide — if you submit optional feedback (for example, when uninstalling), we receive the text you enter.
Handled on your device only (not collected by us): the videos, audio, images, documents, and files you download or open; files you pick with the file/photo picker; your bookmarks, history, and settings. These are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its download and playback features.
- Serve and measure advertising, including personalized ads where you consent.
- Analytics and product improvement (understand usage, fix bugs, improve stability).
- Fraud prevention, security, and abuse/invalid-traffic detection.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party SDKs/services that may process data as described. Each is governed by its own privacy policy:

4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share the categories of data described above with the advertising, analytics, and infrastructure partners listed in Section 3 so they can provide their services to us and, for advertising partners, serve and measure ads.
We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.
5. Legal Bases (EEA/UK — GDPR)
- Consent — for personalized advertising and, where required, analytics.
- Legitimate interests — core functionality, security, fraud prevention, and product improvement.
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws.
You may withdraw consent at any time via the in-app consent controls and device advertising settings.
6. Data Retention
We and our partners retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Advertising and analytics identifiers are retained according to each partner's retention schedule; crash and diagnostic data are kept for a limited period to investigate issues. Content you download stays on your device until you delete it.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent or opt out of targeted advertising:
- EEA/UK (GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information and targeted advertising, and non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
- Other regions (e.g., LGPD, PIPEDA): equivalent rights under local law.
Because the App has no user accounts, we may need identifiers to locate any data associated with your device. When contacting us, please include your advertising ID (AAID/IDFA) and device details so we can act on your request. To request deletion, email us at the address in Section 13; you can also limit collection at any time using the advertising-ID and consent controls described above.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it. We do not knowingly serve personalized ads to children.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our partners operate. Where required, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are used for these transfers.
10. Data Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Third-Party Content
The App lets you access, download, and play content and links from third parties. We do not own or control that content and are not responsible for it. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to download or save any content, and your use of third-party sites/content is subject to those third parties' terms and policies.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
