Privacy Policy

Cutout AI ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

Cutout AI is a photo-editing app that removes and replaces image backgrounds and performs related cutout/editing on the photos you choose. Your photos are processed on your device for the editing features; we do not upload them to our servers. You do not need to create an account to use the App.

1. Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or the content of your photos on our servers. The photos you pick are processed on-device (on-device machine-learning models) and are not transmitted to us.

We (and our third-party partners) automatically collect the following, which does leave the device:

• Device and advertising identifiers — including the Advertising ID (the App requests the AD_ID permission) and other device identifiers, used to serve and measure ads and for attribution.
• Approximate (IP-derived) location — coarse location inferred from your IP address by ad and analytics partners for ad targeting and measurement. We do not collect precise GPS location.
• App activity / interactions — how you use the App (features used, screens viewed, ad interactions), for analytics and ad measurement.
• Crash logs and diagnostics — crash reports and performance/diagnostic data to keep the App stable.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, or your account credentials, and we do not upload your photos.

2. How we use information

• Provide and operate the App and its editing features.
• Show advertising and measure ad performance (including rewarded ads you choose to watch).
• Attribution — measure which campaigns or sources led to installs and events.
• Analytics and product improvement.
• Fraud prevention and security.
• Legal compliance.

3. Third-party services

The App integrates the following data-transmitting SDKs. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

Ad consent (UMP/IAB TCF). Where required (e.g. in the EEA/UK), the App presents a consent request managed through Google's User Messaging Platform and the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework before personalized ads are served. Your consent choice governs whether ads are personalized.

Reset or opt out of the advertising ID. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads on Android. You may also decline or withdraw ad-personalization consent through the in-app consent prompt where it is shown.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share the automatically-collected data described above with the advertising, attribution, and analytics partners listed in Section 3 so they can serve and measure ads and provide their services. Because the App serves personalized ads by default (subject to your consent), some U.S. state laws may treat this ad-related data sharing as a "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising; you can opt out via the ad-consent prompt and your device ad settings (Section 3). We may also disclose information for legal reasons or in connection with a business transfer.

5. Legal bases (EEA/UK — GDPR)

• Consent — personalized advertising and, where required, analytics.
• Legitimate interests — core functionality, security, fraud prevention, and product improvement.
• Legal obligation — compliance with applicable law.

6. Data retention

We and our partners keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Advertising and attribution identifiers are retained per each partner's retention schedule; crash and diagnostic data are kept for a limited period.

7. Your rights

• GDPR (EEA/UK): access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction, withdrawal of consent, and the right to complain to a data protection authority.
• CCPA/CPRA (California): know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale"/"sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising, plus non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
• Other regions (LGPD, PIPEDA, and similar): comparable rights under your local law.

Because the App has no user accounts, please contact us at the email below to exercise your rights and include your Advertising ID and device details so we can locate the relevant data.

8. Children's privacy

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International data transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we and our partners rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

10. Data security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
