Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cliffy mobile application ("the App"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (https://policy.tranquilmind.co/cliffy/privacy). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the higher age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App. The App contains dramatized stories with mature themes and is not intended for children.

2. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse-engineer any part of the App except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

3. The service

Cliffy is a vertical short-drama streaming app where each episode runs 1–2 minutes and ends on a cliffhanger, with new series added regularly. Availability of specific titles and features may vary by region and may change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time.

4. Ads and in-app economy

The App is free to download and supported by advertising. You may see banner, interstitial, native, rewarded, and app-open ads.
Rewarded ads are optional. You may choose to watch a rewarded video to unlock an episode, earn in-app coins, or temporarily pause ads. Watching is always your choice.
In-app coins have no monetary value, are not redeemable for cash, and are non-transferable. Coins and unlocked content may expire or be reset, and are provided solely for use within the App.

Note: the App does not currently offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases. If subscriptions or one-time purchases are introduced, they will be sold through Google Play Billing; subscriptions will auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your Google Play account settings, and refunds will follow Google Play policy and applicable consumer law. These Terms will be updated accordingly.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the App unlawfully; disrupt or interfere with the App or its servers; bypass or attempt to bypass ads, access controls, or security measures; use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access content; or infringe any intellectual property or other rights. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its design, trademarks, and content are owned by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC or its licensors and are protected by law. All series are works of fiction; names, characters, and events are creative, and any resemblance to real persons or events is coincidental. Third-party marks belong to their owners, and their appearance does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

7. Third-party services and content

The App uses third-party services (advertising and analytics) and streams licensed or third-party dramatized content, each subject to its own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that content will be available in your region. Nothing in the App constitutes professional advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tranquil Mind Technology JSC from claims arising out of your misuse of the App or breach of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including for breach of these Terms. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, with venue in Hanoi, Vietnam. Mandatory local consumer rights are preserved.
