Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Chapture mobile application ("the App"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (https://policy.tranquilmind.co/chapture/privacy). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the higher minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App. Some series contain mature dramatic themes. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.

2. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App and to stream its content for your own private, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, download, record, rip, redistribute, publicly perform, modify, or reverse-engineer the App or its content, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.

3. The service

Chapture lets you browse and stream vertical short dramas — romance, mafia, billionaire, werewolf and similar genres — where every episode is treated as a chapter running one to two minutes, with optional subtitles in the languages we make available. The App remembers your reading-style progress and the series you bookmark on your device so you can resume a story later. Content is streamed on demand and is not available for offline download; the App requires an internet connection. The catalogue, the series available, and individual features may vary by region and change over time; we may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time.

4. Coins, rewarded ads, and subscriptions

The App is free to download and is supported by advertising.

Advertising. The App shows banner, native, interstitial, rewarded, and app-open ads. Where required, an ad-consent request is presented before personalized ads are served.
Rewarded ads and coins. You may choose to watch a rewarded ad to earn coins, to unlock a chapter, or to obtain a temporary ad-free period. Coins are a virtual in-app item used to unlock chapters; they are not sold for money, have no monetary value, are not property, cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or sold, and are non-refundable. Coins and any ad-free window are stored on your device only, are lost if you uninstall the App or clear its data, and we may change the earning or spending rates.
Premium (VIP) subscriptions. Optional VIP subscriptions (weekly, monthly, or yearly, as offered in the App) remove advertising and are sold through Google Play Billing. Subscriptions automatically renew at the price and interval shown at purchase unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them anytime in your Google Play account settings. Any free-trial period converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before it ends. Refunds are handled according to Google Play policy and applicable consumer law.
Restoring purchases. Because the App has no accounts, entitlements are tied to your Google Play account. Use the restore option in the App if you reinstall or change device.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose; to disrupt or interfere with the App, our streaming service, or its infrastructure; to bypass advertising, coin gates, paywalls, geographic restrictions, or other access controls; to tamper with, repackage, patch, or run a modified version of the App; to use bots, scrapers, hooking frameworks, or automated tools; or to capture, re-upload, or redistribute the video content. We may suspend or terminate your access, and block modified or tampered installations, for violations.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its design, trademarks, logos, and software are owned by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC or its licensors. The series, episodes, artwork, subtitles, and related materials are owned by their respective rights holders and are made available to you under license. All series are works of fiction; any resemblance to real persons or events is coincidental. Third-party trademarks belong to their owners; their appearance in the App does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

7. Third-party services and content

The App uses third-party services (advertising and mediation, analytics, attribution, app-integrity protection, payments) and streams licensed content delivered through third-party content delivery networks, each subject to its own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, their advertising, or the websites they link to.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure operation, that any particular series or chapter will remain available, or that playback quality will be suitable for your connection or device.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid in the last 12 months or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tranquil Mind Technology JSC from claims arising out of your misuse of the App or breach of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including for breach of these Terms. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, with venue in Hanoi, Vietnam. Mandatory local consumer rights are preserved.
