Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Castkoi mobile application ("the App"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (https://policy.tranquilmind.co/castkoi/privacy). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App, or older if a higher age of majority applies where you live. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, or reverse-engineer the App, except where the law expressly allows it.
3. The service
Castkoi is a media player. It lets you play IPTV playlists that you add yourself (M3U/M3U8 links, Xtream logins, or playlist files), browse a program guide when your playlist provides one, play local video files, and cast streams to a compatible TV or Cast device. For convenience, the App also links to a small number of free-to-air news streams from their official broadcasters, and to official YouTube live news channels played in YouTube's own player.
Castkoi does not provide, host, sell, or license any IPTV channels, subscriptions, or playlists. We are not affiliated with any playlist provider. Features may vary by device and region, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time.
4. Your content and your responsibility
- You alone are responsible for the playlists, links, files, and login details you add to the App, and for the content you access through them.
- You may only use the App with content you have the legal right to access. Do not use the App to access, stream, or distribute content that infringes copyright or other rights, or that is otherwise unlawful where you live.
- Channel availability, stream quality, program-guide data, and uptime depend entirely on your provider and your internet connection. We do not guarantee any of them.
- Parental controls are provided for convenience. They hide playlist categories by name and do not guarantee that all mature content is blocked.
5. Ads
The App is free to download and supported by advertising. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions. Ads are provided by third-party ad networks, and we do not endorse the products or services they advertise. Where the law requires it, you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown (see the Privacy Policy).
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App for any unlawful purpose, including copyright infringement;
- interfere with, disrupt, or try to gain unauthorized access to the App, its ads, or related systems;
- bypass, block, or tamper with ads or access controls in a way that breaks these Terms;
- use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the App, or generate fraudulent ad traffic;
- remove or change any copyright, trademark, or other notices.
We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
The App, including its software, design, logos, and the name "Castkoi", is owned by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Third-party trademarks, such as Google Cast, YouTube, and broadcaster names, belong to their owners. Their appearance in the App does not mean they are affiliated with us or endorse us.
Copyright complaints: if you believe content reachable through the App infringes your rights, please note that we do not host that content. Contact the provider that hosts it. You may also write to contact@tranquilmind.co, and we will review your notice. Where appropriate, we will remove links built into the App.
8. Third-party services and content
The App uses third-party services, including advertising, analytics, crash reporting, the YouTube embedded player, and Google Cast. It also plays content hosted by third parties. Each of these is subject to its own terms and policies. By watching YouTube content in the App, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). We are not responsible for third-party services or content.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App, or any stream played in it, will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every playlist, device, or Cast receiver.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Tranquil Mind Technology JSC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes loss of data, content, or profits arising from your use of the App or of content you access through it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tranquil Mind Technology JSC and its officers, employees, and partners against any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App, the content or sources you add, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or end your access to the App at any time, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Sections 4, 7, and 9–13 survive termination.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms at this address with a new "Last updated" date. If you keep using the App after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Hanoi, Vietnam. This does not affect any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
