Privacy Policy

Calliq ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

Calliq is a caller ID, spam-call blocker, and message-notification tracker for Android that helps you identify incoming calls, block unwanted numbers, and keep track of missed messages. You do not need to create an account to use it.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information processed only on your device (never uploaded to us)

Calliq requests certain sensitive permissions to provide its core features. The data accessed through these permissions is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers or to any third party:

• Contacts (READ_CONTACTS): used to match incoming and searched phone numbers to a name so you can identify callers. Your contacts are read on-device only.
• Notification access (Notification Listener): used to surface missed and unseen message notifications from your other messaging apps within the App. Notification content is read on-device only.
• Phone (CALL_PHONE) and Caller ID & Spam role / Call Screening: used to place calls you initiate and to silence or reject numbers on your spam and block lists.
• Your spam list and block list: stored locally on your device.

We do not collect your call log, message contents, or contact list on our servers, and we do not use a public phone-number directory.

1.2 Information collected automatically (transmitted off the device by third-party SDKs)

When you use the App, the third-party services listed in Section 3 may automatically collect:

• Device and advertising identifiers (including the Android Advertising ID).
• Approximate location derived from your IP address (not GPS-based precise location).
• App activity / interactions (e.g. features used, events within the App).
• Crash logs and diagnostics (technical information to fix bugs and improve stability).

We do not operate a backend account system and do not collect your name, email address, or precise (GPS) location.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide and operate the App's caller-ID, blocking, and message-tracking features.
• Display advertising and measure its performance.
• Analytics and product improvement.
• Fraud prevention, security, and abuse detection.
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share the limited data described in Section 1.2 with the third-party services in Section 3 so they can provide advertising, analytics, and diagnostics; for legal reasons (to comply with law or protect rights and safety); and in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or asset sale).

• Consent — for personalized advertising and, where required, analytics.
• Legitimate interests — core functionality, security, and product improvement.
• Legal obligation — where the law requires processing.

6. Data Retention

We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Advertising and analytics identifiers are retained by our partners according to their own retention periods; crash and diagnostic data are retained for a limited period.

7. Your Rights

• GDPR (EEA/UK): access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction, withdrawal of consent, and the right to complain to a data protection authority.
• CCPA/CPRA (California): know, delete, correct, opt out of the "sale"/"sharing" of personal information and targeted advertising, and non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
• Other regions (e.g. LGPD, PIPEDA): equivalent rights may apply.

Because the App has no user accounts, when you contact us to exercise a right, please include your Advertising ID and relevant device details so we can identify the applicable data. To request deletion of data held by our partners, contact us at the address in Section 12; you may also reset your Advertising ID as described in Section 3.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users 18 years of age and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it. Where the EEA age of digital consent applies, we do not knowingly process the data of users below that age without appropriate consent.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we and our partners rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for these transfers.

10. Data Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and other reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
