Privacy Policy

Bunnattery: Emoji Battery Icon ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

Bunnattery is a personalization app that lets you replace your battery icon with cute bunny and emoji designs, decorate your status bar, cover the notch, add on-screen pet characters and apply playful battery effects. You do not need to create an account, sign in, or give us your name or email to use it.

1. Information we collect

Information collected automatically

• Device and advertising identifiers — Android advertising ID (AAID), app-instance ID, device model, OS version, language and country, network type.
• Approximate location derived from IP address (country/region level). The App does not request GPS or any location permission.
• App activity and diagnostics — screens opened, features used (which battery skin, emoji, status bar style, notch cover or pet you apply), ad impressions and clicks, session length, crash logs, stack traces and performance data.
• Install attribution data — referrer/campaign information used to measure which marketing channel led to your install.

Information stored only on your device (never uploaded to us)

• Your chosen battery icons, emoji, stickers, pets, status bar and notch styles, favourites, prank/troll settings, the "not-allowed apps" list, notification and reminder preferences and other app settings. These are saved in local storage on your phone and are deleted when you uninstall the App.
• Accessibility service data. The App uses an Android Accessibility Service solely to draw its decorative overlay on top of the real status bar and to detect which app is currently in the foreground so it can hide the overlay in apps you excluded. The service is configured with canRetrieveWindowContent="false" and subscribes only to window-state-change events — it cannot and does not read the content of your screen, your messages, passwords, form fields or any text you type, and nothing from this service is transmitted off your device.
• Network state. The App reads the Wi-Fi/mobile signal level (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE) only to redraw the signal icons inside its own status bar overlay. It does not inspect, log or transmit your network traffic, SSID list or browsing activity.

Information we do not collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, camera or microphone input, precise location, SMS or call logs. The App requests no such permissions.

2. How we use information

• To provide and operate the App and remember your customizations.
• To show advertising, including measurement and frequency capping.
• For analytics and product improvement (which features are used, where users drop off).
• For crash reporting, stability and performance monitoring.
• For fraud prevention, security and abuse detection (including invalid ad traffic).
• To send local reminder notifications you enabled (these are generated on your device).
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your information for credit, employment, insurance or any automated decision-making with legal effect.

3. Third-party services

The App integrates the following third-party SDKs, which may receive or process data as described:

Ad consent (Google UMP / IAB TCF). If you are in the EEA, the UK or another region where consent is required, the App shows a Google User Messaging Platform consent form before personalized ads are served. Your choice is stored in the IAB TCF consent string on your device and passed to the ad partners above. You can change it at any time from the App's settings.

Rewarded ads. Some decorative items can be unlocked by watching a rewarded video ad. You are always asked before such an ad is shown, and you can decline — declining only means that item stays locked.

Resetting or opting out of the advertising ID. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in Settings → Google → Ads.

4. How we share information

• We do not sell your personal information for money.
• We share the data described above with the third-party providers listed in §3, strictly for the purposes stated.
• We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, users' safety or investigate fraud.
• In a merger, acquisition or asset transfer, information may be transferred to the successor entity.
• U.S. state notice: where personalized advertising is enabled, the use of advertising identifiers for targeted advertising may be considered "sharing" or a "sale" under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA. You can opt out via the ad-consent form or the device-level advertising-ID controls described in §3.

5. Legal bases (EEA/UK — GDPR)

• Consent — personalized advertising, marketing attribution and analytics where consent is required (withdrawable at any time via the consent form).
• Legitimate interests — providing core functionality, security and fraud prevention, aggregate product improvement, non-personalized advertising.
• Legal obligation — retaining records where law requires.

6. Data retention

Analytics and crash data are retained for the retention windows configured in Firebase (typically up to 14 months for event data; shorter for crash/diagnostic data). Advertising and attribution partners retain identifiers according to their own policies (§3). Your customizations and settings stay on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall it.

7. Your rights

GDPR / UK GDPR — you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, object to or restrict processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

CCPA / CPRA — you have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, to opt out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Other regions — comparable rights apply under LGPD (Brazil), PIPEDA (Canada) and similar laws.

To exercise any right, email contact@tranquilmind.co. Because the App has no accounts, we cannot identify you by name — please include your advertising ID, device model and Android version so we can locate and delete the relevant records. We respond within the time limits set by applicable law.

8. Children's privacy

The App is intended for users aged 13 and over (or the higher age of digital consent in your country) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA where applicable). In line with COPPA, if we learn that we have collected such information we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact contact@tranquilmind.co.

9. International data transfers

Your information may be processed in countries outside your own, including the United States, where our service providers operate. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

10. Data security

Data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Third-party content

Advertisements shown in the App come from third-party ad networks and may link to external websites or app stores that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties — please review their policies.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
