App: Battopia Effective: 05/09/2026 Last Updated: 05/09/2026

Battopia ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

Battopia is an Android personalization app that replaces your system battery icon with emoji and stickers, restyles your status bar and notch, and displays a decorative pet on your screen. You do not need to create an account to use it. There is no login, no profile, no chat, and no way for users to contact each other through the App.

1. The Accessibility Service — what it does and does not do

Battopia includes an Android Accessibility Service (BattopiaAccessibilityService). You must enable it manually in Android Settings, and you can turn it off at any time. Because this is a powerful Android capability, we explain its use in full:

We use the Accessibility Service only to:

We do not, and technically cannot, use it to:

The name of the foreground app is evaluated on your device, in memory, for the sole purpose of deciding whether to show or hide the overlay. It is never stored and never transmitted.

The App also requests the "Display over other apps" permission (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW) to show the on-screen pet and the notch overlay outside the App, and runs a foreground service to keep that overlay visible while you use other apps. These overlays are purely decorative, entirely optional, and reversible at any time from within the App or by revoking the permission in Android Settings.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information that leaves your device

Only one category of data leaves your device:

DataWhat it containsWhy
Crash logs and diagnosticsStack trace of the error, device model, operating system version, App version, device language and region, the amount of memory and storage available at the time of the crash, and a random installation identifier generated by Firebase so that multiple reports from the same installation can be grouped together. To find and fix crashes and stability problems.

This is collected by Google Firebase Crashlytics. It is sent only when the App crashes or encounters a fatal error, and it contains no name, no email address, no account, no contacts, no location, and no content from your screen.

2.2 Information that stays on your device

The following is stored locally on your phone (using Hive, SharedPreferences and Android's own storage) and is never sent to us or to anyone else:

Uninstalling the App removes all of this local data from your device.

2.3 Information we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, date of birth, contacts, calendar, photos, videos, camera or microphone input, files, health data, financial data, payment details, precise or approximate location, browsing history, or the content of any screen or message. The App requests no location permission, no camera permission, no contacts permission, and no storage permission.

The App contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no attribution SDK. It does not use the Android advertising ID, and the App does not declare the AD_ID permission.

3. How We Use Information

We use crash and diagnostic data solely to:

We do not use it to build a profile of you, to target advertising, or to make automated decisions about you.

Google acts as our processor / service provider for crash reporting. There are no other third-party services, no advertising networks, no analytics providers, and no payment processors integrated in the App.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising or targeted advertising. We have no advertising partners.

We share data only:

7. Data Retention

8. Your Rights

If you are in the EEA or the United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, and port your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

If you are in California (CCPA / CPRA) or another U.S. state with a comparable law

You have the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising (we do not sell or share, so there is nothing to opt out of), to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we collect none), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

If you are in Brazil (LGPD), Canada (PIPEDA), or another region

Comparable rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, and complaint apply, and you may exercise them using the same contact method below.

How to make a request, including a request to delete your data

Because Battopia has no accounts, we cannot identify you from a name or an email address. To make a request:

  1. Email us at contact@tranquilmind.co with the subject line "Privacy request — Battopia".
  2. Tell us what you want us to do (for example: delete my crash reports).
  3. Include your device model, your Android version, and the approximate date and time of the crash, so we can locate the relevant crash reports. Without this we may be unable to find any records relating to you.

We will respond within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires it. There is no charge for a request unless it is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

You can delete all locally stored data at any time yourself by uninstalling the App, or by clearing the App's storage in Android Settings.

9. Children's Privacy

Battopia is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App requires you to enable an Android Accessibility Service and to configure system overlays, which is not an activity intended for young children.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, the applicable minimum age is 13, or the higher age of digital consent in your country (up to 16 in some Member States).

If you believe a child under the applicable age has provided us with personal information, contact us at contact@tranquilmind.co and we will delete it.

The App contains no chat, no comments, no user-generated content, no user-to-user contact of any kind, and no AI-generated content.

10. International Data Transfers

Crash and diagnostic data is processed by Google on servers that may be located outside your country, including in the United States. Where such transfers involve personal data from the EEA or the UK, they are covered by Google's Standard Contractual Clauses and the safeguards described in Google's own privacy documentation.

11. Data Security

All data transmitted by the App is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Your settings and content selections are stored locally on your device and are protected by Android's application sandbox. We minimise data collection by design: the App has no user accounts, no backend server of our own, and no advertising or analytics tracking.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
