Artova AI ("the App", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Tranquil Mind Technology JSC, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

Artova AI is an AI photo and video editor that turns the photos you choose into AI-generated art, portraits, and short videos. You do not need to create an account to use it.

1. Information We Collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect your name, email address, or contacts. The App collects the following categories of data, and only the items below actually leave your device:

• Photos and media you submit for processing. When you pick a photo (or provide a prompt) to generate an AI result, that image is sent securely to our third-party AI providers to produce your result (see Section 3). We process the submitted image to deliver the feature; we do not use your photos to build advertising profiles.
• Device and advertising identifiers. Device identifiers and the Android advertising ID (AAID) used for advertising, measurement, analytics, and fraud/security.
• Approximate (coarse) location. Our advertising and analytics partners derive an approximate location from your IP address for ad targeting and measurement. We do not collect precise GPS location, and the App does not request a location permission.
• App activity. In-app interactions and events (for example, which styles you open or generate) used for analytics and advertising.
• Crash logs and diagnostics. Crash reports and performance/diagnostic data to keep the App stable.
• Purchase status. Confirmation of purchases and subscription status processed through Google Play Billing (Google processes your payment; we do not receive your full card details).

On-device processing (such as the background remover) that never sends data to a server is not covered by this list because that data does not leave your device.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide and operate the App and its AI generation features.
• Process the photos/prompts you submit to generate your requested results.
• Show and measure advertising, including personalized ads where permitted.
• Analyze usage to improve features, stability, and performance.
• Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security issues.
• Process purchases and manage subscriptions and in-app credits.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share data with the third-party services listed in Section 3 for the purposes described, for legal reasons (to comply with law or valid legal process), and in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or asset sale).

5. Legal Bases (EEA/UK — GDPR)

• Consent — personalized advertising, and analytics where consent is required.
• Legitimate interests — core functionality, security/fraud prevention, and product improvement.
• Contract / legal obligation — processing purchases and meeting legal requirements.

You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out.

6. Data Retention

We and our partners keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Advertising and analytics identifiers are retained according to each partner's retention periods; crash and diagnostic data are kept for a limited period. Photos you submit for AI processing are handled per our AI providers' policies and are not retained by us for advertising.

7. Your Rights

GDPR (EEA/UK): access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction, withdrawal of consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

CCPA/CPRA (California) and similar U.S. state laws: the right to know, delete, and correct; to opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information and targeted advertising; and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

Other regions (e.g., LGPD in Brazil, PIPEDA in Canada): equivalent rights under applicable local law.

Because the App has no accounts, please email us at the address in Section 13 to exercise your rights and include your Android advertising ID (or device details) so we can identify the relevant data. We will respond as required by applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the higher minimum age required in your region). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we and our partners rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for these transfers.

10. Data Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and other reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Third-Party Content

The App generates results using third-party AI services and displays advertising from third parties. We are not responsible for third-party content, ads, or linked services; please review their policies. AI-generated results may vary and are produced automatically.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
